I just contacted O2 about my mobile phone and they offered me something which seems too good to be true:

Free line rental and free calls for 12 months (50 mins and 100 txts)
[I hardly ever use the phone]

I thought there must be a catch but was told no.

Anyone else got this?

Sounds something like my Virgin deal...... Are you sure it's not a monthly payment of £20 or £30 and then reclaim after 6,9 and 12 months. This means that they are hoping you forget to claim and then leave them with the money.

Either way though (If you remember) it's a good deal.

No, it's not a reclaim deal....I did ask that.

Normal price is £25 but they are going to credit me with £300 at the start...I suppose they are hoping I go over but I never really use the phone...maybe 2 or 3 calls per month and the same number of texts. (I know...it's sad not having any friends - LOL)
