Anyone use a mobile printer?

I did have a Canon BJ10e in the attic but as it is parallel it isn't going to work on the Mac and its a bit obsolete now.

I have been looking at a few such as the HP 460 and HP 470. Has anyone any experience of these OR OTHERS that might be any good. I do not need photo realistic colour etc BUT if it can print a photo and colour then all the better. What I do need is rugged and at least B&W with USB or pref B/T connection. If the cartridges are refillable that would too be a help.

The HP 470wbt is looking really good but it is £250 or the non bluetooth model at £215.

Oh and if someone is selling one then all the better!

I take it you are looking at non mains powered?

Any particular size i.e. does it have to be A4?

Thanks. That looked REALLY good until I found out that the £150 didn't include the battery :( which is £50 extra but I could have lived with that until I saw that it it's cartridge holds enough ink for 192 standard pages (that will be at about 4% coverage!) and they are £12..... Now if they are refillable then that is not so bad but it is shown as a thermal inkjet so not sure.....

If the battery had been included and the cartridges cheaper/larger and refillable then it would have been a winner! I will look into the refillability :) of them before I discount it though.

sorry mate I didnt look at it fully to see if the battery was included

No don't be sorry, its is cheaper than the Hp even with the battery so if I can refill the cartridges it could be a winner.

what about a usb/firewire to parrallel adapter might be a cheaper thinking out of the box solution

I've tried a number of USB to serial and parallel solutions for the Mac before but they don't really work because the Mac isn't expecting a really old parallel only printer so there is a lack of drivers for them in OS X
