Yes
hi all

are there any decent programs which i can install on my laptop to monitor the temps of the fan and cpu etc?

I use CPU-Z and Throttlestop for seeing what my system is up to and realtemp for temperature testing.

For fan, it is more mobo dependent.

Realtemp is a great CPU monitoring tool too.

Sorry arad.. didn't see your post :)

CPUID Hardware Monitor is another good one. It shows temps from all the sensors it can find (MOBO, HDD, GPU, CPU and case on my pc) and also voltages for your CPU and GPU and if you use it on a laptop it also shows the battery status and health.

+1 for speedfan. I liked the system tray icon not sure if the others mentioned have this but this was the most suitable I could find many many years ago. Not sure how accurate the numbers are I've never checked them. I like to think it reads high and I'm not gonnna burn out my mobo!!
