Monitor Calibration i1 Display 2 with my Imac

I have just got my new Imac after moving away from my old windows PC. The question is that I have a monitor calibrator, the i1 Display 2 (mine is the Greytagmagbeth one but its the same as the i1) and I have read on the internet that this device has trouble calibrating the Imac screen due to the glossy nature.

Now is this true? Anybody else had this problem with this combination? Should I sell it and upgrade to a more suitable one?

Haven't tried it so cant comment but I heard a lot of talk about imac being unable to calibrate before I got one. But I think it was an issue with brightness on older models and some had a yellow cast that wouldnt go away. The newer models use different hardware and seem fine, I'm using colour munki BTW and it works a treat. So if there is a problem that's something you might consider.

Have you tried it yet? Like I said I haven't had a problem with the glossy screen with the color munki, and I'm really happy with the imac and the monitor. In fact I have just ordered a second imac to replace the other PC in my editing suite.
