monitor calibrator North east

Hey everyone,

Any of you fine folks in the Newcastle/Northumberland area have a monitor calibrator I could borrow or make use of to get my monitor settings right, just had a load of prints done by DSCL and although the prints are very good quality they are all a bit dark (Its not dscls fault as I chose the pre corrected settings so they wouldn't alter them)

I'm happy to meet somewhere with my laptop and get you a pint or coffee or something in return?

I know its a long shot but I can't afford to buy a calibrator at the moment!

Well if you tilt the monitor (assuming its not a fancy one) then the brightness will change decoding in viewing angle. If it does compare it to the print and see if it gets close to the brightness of the image.

Only if it is one of 95% laptops that have cheap TN screen. No calibrator will help with that. IPS monitor first.
