Hi

Thinking about getting the ALdi Multimedia PC this sunday if I can. Just the base unit.

Would be good to get a bigger monitor than my archaic 17" e-yama for editing pics in Elements and also fast enough to use for watching films/iplayer and occasional gaming.

Budget is about £150. Have heard that IPS technology monitors are the ones to go for for editing but they seem quite pricey still and have slow repsonse times, 16ms on some.

Is it possible to get a LCD TFT one that is good enough for editing and has a 5-8ms response time?

Many thanks.

from a seller called nrg_it, they have a 1 year warranty with the seller.

they have auctions for zero dead pixel models as well as some with dead pixels so be careful and read the description. i got one from them a little while ago and its been perfect.

Ok thanks

They have 4 refurb ones for £175 on buy-it-now, inc P&P, doesnt say anything about dead pixels in the blurb. Is that the right sort of price?

Or are you saying wait for an auction of one?

Cheers

Thanks

is IPS really that good? samsung bx2231 LED gets good reviews, brand new same price.
