mono or tripod for macro???

Don't own a monopod or do macro, but I would imagine that using one for macro would be nigh on impossible given the tiny depth of fields involved.

Tripod>Monopod>Handheld. Now if the bloody thing would just stay still :)

I'm a big fan of the monopod and hardly ever use a tripod, but for macro; I'd say a tripod every time.

Tripod if it's not going to move on me. Otherwise handheld.

It would depend what you are shooting in macro. Insectsand moving things, there is no way a tripod would work, either hand held or monopod, for static things like pound coins etc. then a tripod would be best.

For static Macro - Tripod and cable release if you have one (y)
