Hi

I am looking for recommendations for a monopod and head capable of supporting a D7200 and Sigma 150-600 Contemporary lens. I just want to make sure that the equipment is fit for the job. Budget in the £100-£200 max.

Thanks in advance

I would look at the Manfrotto range and just check the specks for weight requirement.

I have a 680B Monopod and 804RC2 head and very happy with them, solid and well made.

Manfrotto 290 and Benro G2 here for a Canon + Sigma 150-600C. The 290 is the 4 section mono because collapsed length was one of my criteria. You can't go wrong with a Manfrotto - it's the head that needs more thought. Much depends on what you want the head to do. I wanted something to use for the birds without the size and weight (and the cost!) of a gimbal.

Cheer's guy's. I finally went for a Benro Adventure MAD49A Aluminium Monopod (Rated at 18kg load) and a Benro B0+PU50 Magnesium Ball Head
