Does anyone know if there is such a thing as a monopod that also works as a hide clamp?
I don't mean where the centre column pulls out to go in a seperate clamp. I'm looking for something that can be clamped onto the shelf in a hide and then the monopod leg be extended to the floor to give that extra bit of stability.
The monopod I have has a 31½mm top column and the hide clamps I've seen will only take up to 28mm. Perhaps Gitzo or Manfrotto would be good enough to make one for the birders.
