Monopod recommendations

I'm thinking to get myself a monopod, which will be used mainly for motorsports, and indoor events (e.g. judo). I have a Manfrotto 496RC2 head.

Any recommendations?
 
what height are you?
 
how much do you want to spend?
 
I did a quick Google and found this for you, this monopod will also take a heavier body/lens combo should you upgrade in the future.
 
I have a red snapper monopod. The head it come's with isn't overly great but the mono pod it's self seems reasonably good. It can flex a bit if you angle it a lot (or stick it up in the air with the camera on timer) but nothing major.

I've also been looking for a monopod and have found this which seems to get good reviews and is a good price. :)
 
I've got a 681B and though I wouldn't say it's right for delicate ladies of modest stature, it's not a ton weight either. I'd say start with the 'pod and decide on experience whether you need the overcomplication of a head or not. I put a little manfrotto tilter on mine and can't remember when last I unlocked it.
 
I've got a 234RC on top of mine, and I certainly do tilt it, most of the time, but then I don't necessarily, if ever, use it for panning motorsports events. For the things I shoot, which could be in any direction up or down - e.g. birds, planes, creatures at the zoo, I find the tilt head invaluable. Take a look at the technique video at the bottom of this page - http://naturephotography.fredhurteau.com/podtechnique.htm for an example of the benefit a tilt head might bring for some use cases.
 
I use a 680B straight onto the lens with the 300 f/2.8, I found the 234RC head to be a complete waste of time, even with my old 80-200 on it, for motorsport use.
 
In the 1st post he states he already has a head.
