Monopods - Induro CM25 v Gitzo GM2341 v ...?

Hi, wondered if anyone had any experience with either of these 2 monopods?

They come in at around the same price... under £120 ish with 'similar' specs

Induro CM25 - 5 sections, 400g, 43cm folded, 10kg max (carbon)

Gitzo GM2341 - 4 sections, 600g, 49cm folded, 9kg max (allu)


I know its compromise everywhere, but looking for the lightest, shortest, easiest cheapest (within reason) way to support D300 with 300mm f4 decently.
It will replace a manfrotto 679, that seems huge and bulky at 65cm.

Just trying to decide if buying 4 sections and Gitzo is better than 5 sections and an unknown brand (to me), compromising 200g and 6cm and an extra kg.

hmmmm, does anybody here use a monopod thats compact, light but strong enough for a d300 ish sized cam with a 300 f4 /70-200 2.8 on thats never come across the 2 above?

I was thinking there must be loads of people out there that use one of these 2? :shrug:

I'd get the Induro. It's made by Benro - v good quality and value, and much better spec than the Gitzo.
