Hi,

yet again am after some more advice and always so helpful on here now my first stop.

1) I am after an ND filter I live in the lakes and do a lot of walking wouldlike to get some pics of the lakes etc with a slower exposure but do i get an ND4 or an ND8 the way I understand it is if I go to low I will get quicker exposure and not the effect will it have problems going to high?

2) I am thinking of adding a grip to my collection will get the canon one and an extra battery but are these worth it I have read mixed reviews?

3) Should there not be a warning on cameras "BEWARE! Very expensive hobby and so addictive" wouldnt change a thing though ... anyone want to buy a 3 year old boy or will exchange for 5D throwing mother in too for lenses?

thank you for your answers in advance

1) no experience with ND filters

2) a grip helps if you have large hands and holding the camera in portrait orientation. i never used the camera long enough to need a 2nd battery.

3) yes, they should place a warning.

Sorry can't help you with No 1 - no experience yet

2. the grip - definately a bonus with a second battery in if you out for a long while. I feel it can also balance the camera more, with a longer lens on. Would agree if you are going to purchase one, go for the genuine canon one

3. Yes, there should be a warning on any camera - especially when you have a daughter that shows an interest - more equipment to buy :bang:, truthfully I'm overjoyed she is :lol:
