Just surfing and stopped on B&H for looky.
the Hasslebald
has a wonderful 
spec but a $42,000.00 :bonk: I can wait a while. In fact when I get up the courage to buy a 1D I think I'll be happy for a long time with it, but this got me thinking..... So I did a quick calc.
Hasslebald = 60M px @ 1420 px per $
Canon =18M px @ 12000 px per $
:shrug:I always thought a quantity discount went the other way
