just been flicking through the news on DPReview and came across this. So the Godox X series can now be controlled via a mobile app. A nice way to make adjustments without having to touch the camera or trigger.

Well you do have to set the custom function on the trigger so that it is just a trigger and will not change power settings

Nevertheless very impressive if it works well Mike, Broncolor have an app to control a series of there lights ( can't think of the one right now) and it looks to work great, strangely enough the Bron trigger is almost identical to the Godox X1 only that it's over double the price

I think (though not positive) you need the new Godox iPhone “flash” thingy to work as an interface between phone and flashes.

I might eventually. But there hasn't been any firmware update I've needed for Nikon yet (AFAIK).
