Nick - F11 is the aperture on the stacks. In fact most of the images I take with this lens.

A couple of stops or so away from the sweet spot I suppose, but fewer images needed for the stack. Interesting. It works well.

Yes I use it as it means I don't have to switch from my normal setting ( I am in manual mode ) + it may be only one shot you get - so can be usable without stack sometimes, and you never know how long they will stay still.
