Lovely boy..... but the photos are very very soft. There is a touch of red-eye and his dribble has caught your flash. 
Im trying to work out if it is out of focus or just soft. If out of focus, you must make sure the autofocus is working correctly, or use manual focus... or sharpen up in photoshop after the event.
Wipe his chin to prevent the shine from the flash.
Red eye can be rectified afterwards in most programs on the pc too.
