and can i ask exactly where strumpshaw is?

have just been to RSPB site and found strumpshaw, so what is the best time to go there, and as odd as it seems, do you get wet as its a fen??

Did you notice how the colour is different in that shot taken to the left of the hide.:shrug:

There are some amazing Fungi a very short walk from the Reception hide (y).

cheers for the info, we usually wear good walking boots while out, but never been to a fen before so not sure what to expect.
Looking forward to seeing some fungi as well, wife has a fascination for it, and if you have any photos of it, would love to see them.
