I was up early this morning so figured I'd go catch the early light. I liked the way the light caught the castle at this angle, its not the best side but the other side doesn't get the light until after I start work....

tried to get a little closer to emphisise the scale which I feel the photo loses to real life.

Few tourists up at this time of the morning, but they are tarmacking the esplanade... Philistines.



I'm trying to get better so C&C is most welcome.
 
The exposures look good one these (y) and the light is great too (y) give it a nice warm glow (y) I think advise that I can give is watch your levelling at the last one looks to need a little CW rotation (y)

Didn't notice the wonky horizon, I'll keep an eye out for that in future.
 
as Matt said + you cut 2 people in half on the last shot :D maybe better wait until they move- exposure looks good though

Would it have been better to move back, include them properly and have a slightly looser crop on the castle or crop in a lose them completely?
