Following on from my 1st capture of the Damselfly I managed to get some more shots today in the lake district.

Started nice and early, full of fog and mist, there was water droplets covering everything, I found this little guy and snapped away.

What do you think?

These are beautiful well done. I love the second one the best I think, the colours are just stunning.
 
really nice Matt esp the first one great composition:)
only thing that I would have done differently is to try to get a lighter background

I assume you used flash in manual mode
next time try to adjust the exposure so you get some colour in the background so that the flash is just a fill in
you will probabaly end up with a low shutter speed and may have to use a tripod tho:)

Thanks Clive, it's great, I love going on a hunt seeing what I can find, trying to sneak up on them, it all adds to the pleasure of getting that 'shot' you want!
