Hey there!

I was just wondering what you have to focus on the most if you have a photo and you want to take the same photo again?

ISO, WB, Flash, Shutter Speed, Aperture, Focal Length, the lightening...

Is there something I'm missing?

Sorry, I'm a beginner, I'm still not very familiar with the whole technique, but getting there :)

Do you mean you want to take 'exactly' the same photo again? If so, open the image in photo editing software (Picasa is free) then view the photo information or exif details, then that will give you the exact settings used for a particular shot.

Which elements in exif file, do you think are the most important?

Its pointless looking at the shutter speed and ISO, because at any given time the light could be completely different and the shutter speed used one day, might not be suitable the next.
To get a similar feel in a photo, check out the aperture, the lens used and the focal length.

Agreed. In real life there is no such thing as the same shot twice.

Time machine. Compulsory to take the same photo, everything is always changing ;)

Or if you're trying to recreate a shot, then focal length and aperture are critical to the look of an image. Shutter speed is less critical unless there is movement in the scene.

It gets complicated if you're trying to recreate the look of a very old photograph. Different emulsions used to capture the image responded in different ways to different wavelengths of light.
