Most useful accessory...

A Shop rag. Throw it in the bag everytime i go out with my camers. Great for wiping stuff down, len's screens etc. Cost nothing and comes up so very useful!

The other thing i'd recommend everyone have in their bag is a Gerber Clutch. Tenner on amazon and the best Mini tool i've ever had!
 
Neoprene neck strap, as supplied from the TP shop before it sold out.
 
Rocket blower.
 
Crumpler Jimmy Bo which my camera almost always lives in and comes out and about with me in springs to mind first.
 
Apart from the most important item a CF card (as cant save images) its my Nikon 70-200 VRII thermos flask & Nikon 24-70 mug :lol:

I know it's not quite what you mean but, I would say the internet has been/is the most useful. Especially sites like this one:thumbs:
 
How can you rate a memory card as a useful accessory, camera ain't much good without one.

Got a very handy lens and battery too, soon be a 102'er at this rate
 
It's got to be the battery grips for me - balance, space, comfort. I doubt I could go without these days. Following in a very close 2nd place is the nikon handstrap - once on there is no physical way to drop the camera, but dead easy to release when you want to put the camera down.

Not for the camera
Gaffer tape keeps reflectors, gobos, flags and any other light modifier in place or even help make improvised light modifiers. It will also keep cables and other bits and pieces tidy and out of shot
 
My Mobile, it has a DOF calculator, photography trainer, photometric, flickr companion, GPS and maps, GPRS and of course i can phone people on it in times of need.
 
Visible Dust sensor Loupe for close inspection of sensor before and after cleaning.

And a length of sturdy chain. Attaches to camera at one end and to my backpack strap near the shoulder. It's just long enough so that I can hold the camera lightly with my fingertips and not worry about dropping it, and I can let it go to free up the hand and the camera stays more or less where it was held. It's also a bit of a deterrent against it getting snatched when I'm walking the streets.
 
My grip or my wired remote.

Grip suits my big hands a lot better and makes the camera feel more comfortable for me.

Wired remote works every time, unlike my wireless one! :D

BlackRapid RS7. Not exactly cheap, but I can lug around a heavy camera all day without worrying about the weight.
