The moment caught is priceless.. The image i am not so keen on it looks far to hazey to me. And the colours look off.

Have you tried a tighter crop and a black and white conversion.. lowering the midtones and adding some more contrast just a thought...!!!

I really like that including the processing although I'd be tempted to stretch out the right side of the image behind mum to balance the image composition.

I prefer the opening photo! I wouldn't even change the haze as it makes it a bit different!

Great shot, I personally would keep the colour as it wont show her hair colour or the pastally colours in the back. IMO of course.
