well managed to locate a new battery charger for my 1d saving £300 and the MOTHER in law has been spoken to
Is it one with the recycle function and all that good stuff? Glad to hear you got it replaced - I was worried you'd been busted for beating your MIL with your 1D

Thats an appalling thing thing to say! You should never hit your mother in law with a 1D.... always use something cheaper.
