All you guys shooting motorsport what lenses are you using? At the moment I take a single body with a Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 attached. It's ok though annoyingly as I often find it to long or to short. I do take a 18-55mm as well that I some times use in the pit lane but I hate changing lenses when out and about especially when your rushed and its poring down or just generally dusty. So a little inspiration would be a great help.

I use a 50D with 24-105L and a 7D with a 100-300, and a x1.4 t/c in my pocket just in case.

Yes, either keep changing lenses or multiple bodies. All in one superzooms aren't really good enough at either job, especially autofocus speed.

The sigma 1.4tc works pretty well on your lens giving a 280mm f/4 at the long end, it's a cheap way of getting a longer lens, don't bother with the 2x though

what's motorsport? rallying + circuit racing need 2 very different bags worth of gear.

For rallying 200mm is ample for 99% of events, silverstone it looks like 400mm is good, 600 ideal....
