Was up at Fort William for the qualifying runs of the downhill world cup this weekend. This was my first time shooting bikes but i usually do motorsport, so not that different. Had bright sunshine all day so made for some nice colours.

Any Comments welcome.

Really nice stuff, mostly very sharp and colours and exposurers bang on. Only thing that's affecting them in my opinion, on the jump and airborne shots, i prefer to see the ground they'll be landing on, to give a bit of an idea how high up they are.

Otherwise spot-on

great set mate, 1, 5 and 10 stands out the most to me, (y)

Cool. Like the zoom burst a lot. How many frames to get that one .

Only thing I can pick on is to crop out the lady in the high viz, otherwise lovely sharp pics well exposed. Looks like a nice day as well.

Some absolute belters here! love the head on shots. 4,5,6 and 7 for me

Thanks for all the comments

I would have liked to get more of the ground in aswell, i had limited use of the wide angle lens and found it quite hard to get in a good position with the 70-200 though. I think its time i got myself a 17-40L again, ive been missing a wide angle for a while.

I'm not actually sure how that one happened as I wasnt trying for that effect, was quite surprised when i saw it. The other couple of shots i took from that spot were the same aswell.

watched this on the TV, didn't look to busy up the hill on the day, last year appeared packed.

great set, #5 wins it for me.

Great to see another motorsport tog trying somthing different - I have recently started shooting DH mountain biking and it's great craik (I think it allows a lot more creativity than motorsport).

There's a great variation in the images with full, head on, jump shots and shot shutter pans. Exposures all look good and the colours are fantastic.

Were you using flash in many of the shots? 5 really stands out with some perfect fill lighting.

I was gutted when I couldn't make it up to Fort Bill but doing my damned to get to the BDH at Moelfre next month (doubt I'm going to make Llangollen)

really like the zoom burst as well but they're all oversized. Feel free to resize and put them back in though :)
