Mountain Hare

A mountain hare from this morning in Scotland.
I had to stalk this hare and got to within 10 or 12 feet of it.

Nice shot! I've never been able to get near hares over here the only shot you might get it of they're tail as they leg it!
The hare is sharp, the bokeh is lovely a great shot well done!

I'm liking this one, great expression and the dof as the ground falls away has made for a lovely background.

Still spotting a few white ones at the moment which makes life a bit easier but you've done well to get up close.
