Mountain Hare

Went out for a walk around Dovestones today and was surprised to find a Mountain Hare in the boulder fields - they haven't been reported much this year. Sadly only had my 28-300 on me but was still pleased that with a bit of careful stalking and patience I got this shot.

Thanks all - if only work didn't get in the way I'd have been back to see if it was a favoured form and tried again! It's a lovely walk in the snow along the edge too.
