Moving house and finding cameras

I'm soon moving house and while sorting through endless piles of stuff I came across these two old film friends from many years ago. My first two Canons!

A Canon A1 Underwater P&S. Veteran of snorkelling the Barrier Reef and the Med. It really wasn't much cop but at least it did work, it floats and I remember changing film was a major challenge when dripping wet on a pitching and rolling boat!

A Canon Sureshot Supreme. This was a little wonder of a camera which survived many skiing trips and the just kept whirring away despite getting battered and bruised, a lot. Similarly, changing film was a major challenge on the top of a mountain in a blizzard!

Happy memories with both :)

All you need to do now, is to find a nice grey L lens you'd forgotten about :)

I forgot all about it, but I have one of those sureshots, it's even more battered but was working last time it was loaded, I guess battery is flat now.
Same case too, in fact I was using that again with an SX200 until recently.

4wd - wow, that has seen some hard times indeed! Tough little beasties and were capable of some excellent photos for what they were. It was this little camera that got me hooked on Canon all those yonks ago.
