Mozzy......at 7:1 ish

Found this mozzy today so had a play -

First shot is to give a idea of scale 1:1 with a slight crop -

1)-

Second shot is handheld with MP-E65 at 5X mag with a Kenko 1.4 (7X Magnification total) converter - very little DOF

2)-

It wasn't dead but probably on its way as it was very slow & couldn't fly.

Nice shot there Tip from me for insects: if you do find them alive and want to shoot them (photography shooting I mean ) without squishing them, pop them in the freezer A couple of mins will slow them down, longer will kill them gently and without having a squished body.
