Muddy Waters, Minstead, New Forest by Ludovic MERLEIX, on Flickr

I can't say I particularly like this one. As you can probably guess I am very new to this, and I really wanted to shoot something reflected on the water... all I found near me at the time was this muddy and much shallower than usual pond.
I'll take any critiques and advice.
Thanks in advance

Getting down low helps sometimes with the framing. There is no special secret for shooting reflected landscapes. You either have still water or you don't, then the same general principles apply to light and subject matter. Scotland and the Alps are some of the best places to shoot reflections followed by stately homes with their pools and so on.

Mud, junk and seaweeed is never appealing and on many occasions I ended up cloning out large parts of the image. If the water is still it is not difficult to invert and adapt sky part as a source in some cases where it is particularly bad.
