Got my 1st ever macro lens yesterday.
Batteries just finished charging for my flash.
Went into the kitchen in search of something to photo on my chopping board.
Sat the flash at the side ready and when i looked back a Fly had landed lol.
It was not very helpful and only stayed there for a couple of seconds :(

If this is your first go at macro, then you have done really well to get a lot of detail in focus (I struggle at macro and never get anything this good). Strong composition also.

There is always woodlice, normally I photograph so many woodlice over winter, I get fed up with them. I saw a butterfly yesterday but it did not stop for long enough to photograph.
