I like the composition, can see what you were thinking with the different textures. To be honest the image doesn't look very sharp, maybe as a result of the jpg compression - a bigger version would be better to judge it on

hmmm I see what u mean about the sharpness.
Its no clearer bigger. dof if too small.
Must always take a tripod, even on a sunny day so that a large Fno can be used !!

an after thought about this photo, it almost has a dream like state due to the DOF.
