my 1st week of macro....just a bit of fun really

im a portrait photographer by trade, fashion, beauty mainly...but i decided to start doing some macro this week for a change. its great fun!

what do you all think of these?

1) an arty 1 to start off

2) another arty 1

3)hoverfly

4)a fly

5) another fly

6) and another 1!!

Like the angles in 3,4 & 6. Pity about the wings in No.5

D700- 60mm micro- 68mm of ext tubes- sb900- sb800

Not so keen on the first one, but like the others, esp no 2. If this is your first attempt at macro I think you've done pretty well

#5 is a lovely shot, shame that his wings are cut off at the edge

Love the shots of the flys, the detail is amazing, how close do you have to get to get these kind of shots?
