Thought i'd try something a little different yesterday and try a few close ups of flowers , not something i usually bother with , but nice to practice something different

almost 3D the first one, would prefer to see it in a portrait crop though :)
 
Do the same to no 2, I think. I love the colours in this one.
 
Two excellent shots, I prefer the first in portrait but the second is perfect in landscape....Really good work! (y)

You can definitely see a huge improvement by cropping :clap: I like these before and after photos - almost like having your own tutorial ;)
 
I agree with cropping the first one, but i would rather leave the second well alone.

Yep, I agree too. The first one really pops having been cropped to portrait, but the second one looked better uncropped and landscape.
