Some people may think this is a little self indulgent, but I did this last year and it seemed to get a favourable response, so I thought I would do it again.

The shots in this thread are the images that stand out for me from the thousands I have taken this season.

I feel like I have improved a lot this year as a photographer, and my upgraded equipment allows me to get shots that I would never have been able to get last year. Feel free to leave C&C if you like, and I hope you enjoy looking at them.

Love the Linfoot one and the Lambo one at chumley. awesome!
 
Really great shots...all of them, but the last one of Walker losing the front :eek: :eek: = stunning !!! :clap:
 
Seriously, your photography has got better and better each meeting you photographed this season, so many amazing shots you have put on here this year, and this is only a few of them!!!

#I really :love: the Nick Tandy shot, the panning is fantastic!!!

#I also, love the first one of Dan Linfoot, the details and panning is BRILLIANT!!

#The Tim harvey shot also is fantastic, love the exposure!!

#9 is fantastic, love the cars and the details caught

Thanks very much everyone :) I am very proud of what I've achieved this year, although I do feel I lack a bit of inventiveness (if that's a word) in looking for new angles and trying different things. There's always next year :LOL:

In 2008 I used an EOS 400D and a Canon 75-300mm f4-5.6 USM II. Over the winter I upgraded to an EOS 40D, a Sigma 120-400mm f4.5-5.6 APO DG OS and a Sigma 18-125mm F3.8-5.6 lens. Still not top line equipment but it's a huge improvement over what I used to have.

I wish! I didn't have a media pass at Spa (or anywhere else), they were all taken from the spectator areas. Thanks for the comments, I'm glad you enjoyed looking at them :)
 
Richard, these are absolutely superb shots! :clap: What I particularly like is the sense of speed portrayed particularly in the car shots. I seen a number of other car shots elsewhere that convey little sense of speed or atmosphere, so yours are top-notch, for me (IMHO).

Being a bike fan though, I really like the shot of Stuart Easton out of Druids(?) and Walker the Stalker at Brittens.

I think I met you at the last Oulton BSB meeting of the season, for a chat on the outside of Lodge, talking about the Canon 5D Mark I you said you were interested in.

Might see you there next season,

great set reflecting a great season, favourite for me is the Matra Simca from the 70s. Love your Oulton shots, looking forward to next year

some of your shots are stunning and really stand out to me. all sharp enough to cut your self on! :)

for me its the flaming aston which wins, i was there that day but couldnt get half as good at your shot..

been meaning to to my own top 10...

You should Bob, most of your stuff is a little bit different to the norm (in a good way)
