Hard to comment on the content, as not much up there yet! Added your feed to my Google reader, so will check in on it again!

I would say keep blogging regular, and it will be well worth it. Having recently starting blogging myself, I find the key to it being regular content.

I agree. Like the look/style you've chosen. Doesn't seem to link to your main site though? (Like the pics on the main site but I'm not a great fan of the flash, but that's a whole new water heater of herring)
 
Just realised I haven't replied to your PM, will get on that in a minute!

As mentioned above, the integration with your main site needs sorted. Is your website hosted on your own server? As a local Wordpress install may be a better idea.

Content wise, the About page is the standard WP page with test content, the ideal would be to have the same content as the info section of your portfolio site, Google shouldn't sting you for duplicate content, as it is embedded in Flash on your main site.

Content wise it depends on who you are aiming the site at, other photographers, potential customers, friends etc?

Your doctor piece is pretty good, it covers all bases, your "where it all began" post seems like it is aimed more at photographers and may not look too good if rolling stone magazine (for example) comes across it thinking about licensing some of your images.
