My favourite lighthouse at sunrise

Having visited Beaumaris I quickly drove along to Penmon Point on Anglesey to catch this ..

Jimmy Lemon - never seen anyone around collecting money in winter, at least in the week. I think the guy waits until all the tourists arrive !!

Simon, lovely shot. Winning light and composition. Lighthouses are a bit of a bugger to get straight, especially with wideangle lenses. I've cursed the one at Portland so many times.

To be honest I've already had a go & edited the post above.

The problem with Penmon lighthouse is that the glass cowling that sits around the light isn't secured correctly & does often give the impression that the turret is distorted - I'm hoping this is the "distortion" that people are noticing
