my filter is stuck

try putting it in the fridge for a bit to see if you can get a bit of contraction in the different materials , worth a try i suppose :shrug:

By trying to remove the filter the 'normal' way you are distorting the ring so preventing it coming off.

Try placing filter face square against sole of a slipper (or other rubbery type surface) and twist the slipper whil holding the lens (or vice versa) so that the force is evenly distributed around the ring.

Panic over. Under closer inspector it wasn't on properly (that's what I get for letting a man put it on) popped off with a knife.

Or cheaper, use an elastic band or your partners hair band, has worked everytime for me

Glad you got the filter off. Should it happen again, try wrapping a rubber band around the filter a couple of times ,this gives you a bit of extra grip which is sometimes all you need. Alternatively filter wrenches as mentioned earlier could be the answer
