My First Attempt

I picked up a 350D with kit lens yesterday (thanks Elaine).
I took a few pictures this morning at Kingsbury Water Park and this was one of the better ones.

Very nicely done. The Snail is nicely in focus and background sufficiently out of focus not to be distracting. I would perhaps give the levels and saturation a small boost just to really make it stand out, but otherwise excellent effort.
