Just getting into using Lightroom, and played around with this shot, taken just off the EVO Triangle in North Wales a couple of weeks ago. I did a few different B&W versions, this being my favourite. :)

You'll find a graduated neutral density filter will help avoid blown out skies.
 
thats a good shot for get up and go...the sky of course could be put in with picassa 3

Thanks mrcrow, much better. I think I will have a go at toning down the top right bit of the sky too if possible :)
 
I've tried again and come up with another B&W version, darker skies.

Thoughts?

brill!! i cant do that...just let picassa do it for me..i would have taken the soft option and cloned some cloud in
