Had a country walk today with the deliberate aim of just photographing wild birds in the hedgrows and on the fishing lake. Lens used was 80-200 zoom- mainly at the 200mm end! Even so most pictures are heavily croped as well!
#1 Moorhen panned in flight- note the blur on the reeds!
#2 My first robin
#3 My first Grebe
#4 First COOT!
#5 First Goldfinch
#6 First Chaffinch(?)
7# First Thrush
#8 First Pied Wagtail
#9 Second Robin
#10 First Unidentified brown bird!
I've also come to the conclusion I need a big, fast, autofocus piece of glass- and that twigs are a bl**dy nuisance!
