i am doing my first christening in two months,
it is from a family member but i have never done one before,

i have a cannon 7D a 18-55mm canon lens,
also a 70-300mm lens also have a flash,

could i have some help please,

want as much advice as possible please,
camera setting,what photos should i take,

i will be very greatful with all your help,

I would suggest buying or renting a fast prime or zoom as flash might not be allowed and/or the baby might not feel comfortable with it.

i.e. 30mm 1.4, 50mm 1.8 or 1.4, 17-50mm 2.8 etc.
 
I did my first Christening about two months ago, really enjoyed it, very relaxed affair.

Kit wise I had two bodies one with a 85mm F1.8 and one with a 35mm F1.8. I didnt bother with a flash (not a fan) as there was enough light inside the church.

Go with a fast prime and you will be ok.
