I tried this out for the first time today using milkshake so that it would show up nicely against the black background.

Really like the second one, the strong vibrant purple works very well against the black background. (y)
 
#2 an #4 are great! Milkshake works very well.

Very good effort, I've yet to try this, but I can imagine how hard it is. #2 for me.

I am just a noob but i would suggest standing your bowl/glass in a larger bowl and fill the target bowl/glass until it it literally overflowing. Then set the camera very slightly lower than the rim and shoot from there.

Result is no visible rim.

I am deffo going to be trying the milkshake idea though. That is really effective.
 
Really good attempts. Much better than mine when I tried a while back. Which reminds me, I must try again :)

The purple one is really really good.
 
Superb series, I really like #2&3 best (y)
xSitara, the black is caused by the fall off of the flash light as the ambient light is too dark for the exposure.
