My first long exposure

Borrowed the bf's tripod and had a go with long exposure on my compact for the first time...on a 4sec setting at the new fancy bridge in Castleford. I know the lights from the town are quite bright but I didn't want to mess with it too much afterwards.

C&C welcome, but this is my first thread so be gentle

Cheers,
Claire

did not realize Cas could look so nice. lol.
No expert, but really like 2 and 3, were these taken from the lock lane side of the bridge?

I think that they work well especially for a compact, for me #3 is the pick of the bunch, there is some grain in the photos. But with this frame I like the way that the handrail leads you into the image, is that a sunken boat in the frame.

yeah I think 3 is my favourite too, the boat isn't as prominent in 2 but it focus' more on the bridge's curves. Four would be better if that house didn't have its outside light on lol.

Really like number 2.

The blue lights really make this photo!

No.2 for me also, Colours are really good from them all though!
