Its taken 4 years but today my first print arrived and wow its big, 24x16 to be precise. It cost just over £11 from Peak Imaging, very impressed as I only ordered on Monday, I think the frame might cost me a bit more :D
(The photo really doesn't give it justice as i was struggling with reflections)

Here is the original image

Taken with a Canon 40D and 35-80mm lens (the kit lens for the eos 500) Hopefully proving you don't need the best gear to get awesome prints...

Anyone else got some prints they can show, not sure if there is already a thread...

Thanks, it was printed on Fuji Crystal Archive paper by Peak Imaging, not sure what printer they use.

Looks good Liam. Peak really do turn out some good stuff. Glad you decided against canvas in the end - for me, smooth finish suits that sort of image better.

Philip - its not printed using ink but using photo paper. Peak use Fuji Frontier machines for their smaller format but I'm not sure about the larger stuff.

Phil,

Very few online print companies use inkjet printers for printing. In my experience only home users use inkjets!

Quite a lot use Fuji/Fuji machines for printing. However, I do have a poster (150cm x 100cm) that has been done on HP paper.

Regards,
Carl.

The frontiers will alegedly print to 36" width so maybe its all done on those.

Nick.
