As its the weekend, we thought we would take the dog for a nice long walk around one of our favourite spots. A country park with a golf course, lots of wildlife and nice scenic views.
A perfect opourtunity to try out the new camera and lenses. Its raining quite a bit here, so I fish out my old small camera bag and just manage to cram my 450d, 70-200 f/4 and 35 f/2 into the bag. Whilst Im upstairs getting the lens cap, I pick up my 4GB sansdisk card, but then put it back down, thinking I wouldnt need it as I have the 8GB one in the camera.
So off we go. A short way into the walk I spot a lovely scene, blackberries and rose hips mixed with some other big red berries all intertwined. That would make a lovely shot I think to myself. So I get the camera out, swap the 70-200 for the 35mm and frame it up. Click.
Nothing.
I've only gone and left the bleeding 8GB card in the computer :bang:
Thank god I turned the dont shoot without card function on though. There were loads of lovely things I saw along the rest of the walk that I would have been hapilly snapping away at.
Oh well, there is always next time
