My First Self-Protrait (B&W)

As per the title really! I wanted to get that intense contrast and with burned out whites and complete blackness. Taken with my new 50mm plastic-fantastic (also used a sheet of toilet roll in a plastic water cup as a diffuer )

Hmmm, the lack of neck worries me

Think this would look better in portrait format rather than landscape, but hey, thats just me

I like it buddy, personally i dont like burnt out whites and your hand seems to had some kind of smoothing?

No smoothing, only desaturation and contrast increase with 'Legacy' ticked. Oh a little burning of shadows also.

Thanks for comments, I appreciate the burnt tones are not a hot favourite, but the midtones just had not 'feel' to them. It just looked, well, grey
