I used my kit lens 18-55 Not my favorite Len's but it's the smallest i have right now. Any tips on improvement are always welcome.

I think I am correct in saying using more light and reducing the ISO will reduce the noise in the pic...

But, otherwise it's very cool. Really, REALLY nice colours! How did you get them?

All i have is the Sb-400 flash pointed at the ceiling. I asked for a diffuser for Christmas. :D Thank you for the tip i will try Reducing the ISO.

Just some Necklace beads at the bottom of the bowl. Thanks!
 
Its a lovely start, Im still working on improving this type of shot myself.

Shame about the noise, but the colours are great. For a first attempt you should be very pleased with the results. Keep up the good work.
