I think I am correct in saying using more light and reducing the ISO will reduce the noise in the pic...
But, otherwise it's very cool. Really, REALLY nice colours! How did you get them?

All i have is the Sb-400 flash pointed at the ceiling. I asked for a diffuser for Christmas.
Thank you for the tip i will try Reducing the ISO.Just some Necklace beads at the bottom of the bowl. Thanks!

Nice start Instead of the ceiling try placing a piece of paper behind the drop and bouncing the flash of that - you'll lose less light whilst keeping the high speed element of the flash. Shounldn't need to go above iso400
