My house isn't big enough for a studio setup.

I'd like to have somewhere to practice - somewhere with some space.

Anyone got any bright (and sensible) ideas?

:) Here come the sensible replies.

A village hall - 100 miles away and a studio even further :)

Local village hall is an option however :)

Ever thought about renting out a garage nearby? There's loads of little back-alleys around here with old garages and a friend rents one out really cheap were he tinkers with motorbikes. There's no power in it but I'm sure you could find one with power?

The only worry would be security but if you're discreet about what's inside and keep some decent locks on it I'm sure you'd get away with it? Just take the expensive lighting equipment home with you?

What sort of garden space do you have? I'm seriously considering getting a 12ft x 10ft shed for the purpose of setting up a studio! You can pick them up for about a grand, but shop about!

Garden on this house is small unfortunately. If I had the garden space then a shed would definately be an option. My own shed!!! Every bloke's dream!
