i have just managed to save up and buy my first camera the fujifilm hs10 and try and get into photography this shot is of my dog at night and he never sits still C&C welcome i need to improve
I rather like this shot My comment would be that he needs a little more light to the back of the shot as he nearly blends with the background but not quite.
What had you done to tire him? I ask as my two terriers are also rather lively

ive only just seen that his back end blends right in lol thats why im the student and the forum is the teacher lol
i also have a terrier and the both play and sometimes they get worn out so i thought quick get the (new) camera lol
in a vote for photographic portrature the eyes always have it
the nose doesnt
some unpleasant retina discolouring too...pp will get rid of that..and a closed pupil rather than dilated
backgrounds could be lessened and use a lower flash power when so close and a iris closing light source to shut it down so we dont see the inside of the eye itself
